In this crazy Internet world where everyone is looking out for themselves, and advertising is running rampant… it’s good to have some friends! The sites listed here are my personal favorites… period. In my opinion, these websites represent the best of the best in online entertainment. Check them out!
LINKS
X-Entertainment has
stood the test of the time. This website is sort of like the father
to a lot of similar sites out there. Although my project ranges greatly
from X-E, I seriously doubt I’d have the desire to do all of this if it
wasn’t for reading Matt’s work there over the years. Bravo!
The blog formerly known as
Robot
Hand is the Future transformed into Ugly Food for an Ugly Dude.
Ran by super nice guy and rather handsome fellow Spoodles, this site serves
as both a venue for rants, ramblings, and reflections on edibles, but also
his personal soapbox for everyday life. Go visit and discover that
foodstuffs are fun!
Ran by Review the World
fan Greg, this is a truly awesome website that in my humble opinion exemplifies
the same spirit I attempt to capture with this site. The site is
owned and operated by a genuinely nice guy, and I guarantee you’ll find
something, from his rants to his reviews, that’ll entertain you.
Seanbaby is marvelously macabre!
He doesn’t touch his site much anymore; he’s now doing a lot of other things…
like writing for monthly publications and appearing on MTV hosting a show!
However, this site is still a shrine to the awesome work he’s done in the
past… the NES section contains some of my favorite pieces ever written
by anyone.
MY
WISHLIST
Here’s a list of random toys,
candy, video games, books, DVDs, and other random junk I’d be eternally
thankful and genuinely appreciative if you bought for me.
MUSICAL PROJECTS
Lombardi is a collective of sick individuals joined together for the sole purpose of bringing grotesque back. Their songs run the gamut, inspired by everything from a fortune cookie’s cryptic message to personal friends’ sexual predilections. They reference a lot in their lyrics, culling great inspiration from areas like obscure video games, cartoons, and professional wrestling. They’re stationed in Hamilton, OH (nearby Cincinnati) but plan on unleashing their unique brand of audio salvation to the entire world.
DAUGHTERS OF KRYPTON
My band, the Daughters of Krypton now have an online home. We’ve got free music, videos, and pictures on there. We’re essentially a science fiction themed electronic-hip-hop-post hardcore-nerdcore-jazz band that likes to write songs about Planet of the Apes and Superman.
MY BUTTONS
Here are some real basic buttons I threw together for my site, so, if you’re interested in putting a link on your website to Review the World… put one of these bad boys on your website and show your support! The Baxter Stockman button is scratch and sniff… I think.
