Ricky Steamboat To me, the "Dragon" is one of the finest athletes
that ever competed inside the wrestling ring. His matches from ten,
fifteen, and even twenty years ago still hold up amongst today's standards
of great excellence inside the the four ropes of a wrestling ring.
A lot of guys will be remembered for a lot of things and will be honored
in a Hall of Fame for different things; for Ricky, it's just pure wrestling
ability.

"Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase |
Andre the Giant This is cliched, but people do throw the words
legend, main eventer, phenom, and icon around in the wrestling business
like their frisbees, but there is only one 8th Wonder of the World and
there is a reason for that. Andre was synonomous with the word respect
and he earned it every where he went. He was a main eventer all across
the world, he was a physcial phenom the likes of which we will never see
again and the term 'legend' was born from his career. He will be
revered for many, many years to come and I hope that the wrestling community
will continue to honor the name Andre, The for his many contributions.
I know the NHO staff will.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan Bobby is undoubtedly one of the greatest minds
in all of wrestling. As a manager, he was superb. As a heel,
perfect. As a commentator, excuse me, "Broadcast Journalist", he
was the best. His banter and sharp wit comes only 2nd to Roddy Piper
and The Rock in all the years of wrestling and god damn, was he funny!
Heenan belongs in every Hall of Fame ever concevied in wrestling because
he is one of it's most famous sons and he never was a full time in ring
competitor. That's saying something.

Owen Hart |
Terry Funk If you don't put Terry Funk on a list of all
time, hard nosed, tougher than a $2 steak sons of bitches list, then you're
crazier than he is. He's the Keith Richards of wrestling. He
will never stop. He's taken on everybody from Jack Brisco to "Screamin"
Norman Smiley. He's traveled the globe and he's taken every kind
of pain you could ever cook up in wrestling and the guy won't stop.
There's something to be said for that kind of dedication.
