Batman – Hush – Vol. #2

This graphic novel contains the second half of the Hush storyline, completing the series, and also includes a couple bonus extras like an introduction by acclaimed artist Jim Lee, and some bonus sketches at the end of the book.  When writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee were paired together, comic fans worldwide creamed their pants.  These two are respectively icons in their chosen field, and the anticipation of their dual work lead to record sales figures.  To the content itself, this is one hell of a Batman story… one of the best ever told.  Everyone is here; we’re talking Riddler, Joker, Clayface, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Superman (that’s right), and a half dozen others or more!  The story is intricate and will keep you constantly guessing, and even better, has you deeply involved and sublimely satisfied.  I don’t want to touch on any real plot points, suffice to say, it’s a wild ride.  Overall, this is one of the better comic series’ to be published this decade, and I’d highly recommend it.
